The book had an entire chapter on DSK's treatment of women. I can see how the conspiracy theory is tempting to believe because how could he possibly be SO stupid on his own volition. But at the same time, there's a lot of proof that he can't keep it in his pants. Some of my French peers were also shocked with how he is being "treated" and the migshots. But as my husband so wisely said, he is being judged in one of the most democratic systems in the world so in the end, he will get what he deserves, whatever the judgement is.
