I know I could drink them or throw them out, but right now, I just like seeing them every time I open the fridge door. You also left baby's duck washcloth. I'm not ready to mail that back to you. I'm keeping it hostage a little while longer:)

Love you to pieces!Jessamynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00259448902317367228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3115132896435909080.post-52877458873078703612009-08-10T16:33:34.692+02:002009-08-10T16:33:34.692+02:00aww I know how you feel..it'll be me in a few ...aww I know how you feel..it'll be me in a few weeks time. I have a hard time throwing any kind of "souvenir" from home out too...I keep empty boxes of Kraft dinner, 2-year old American magazines, receipts from the Starbucks near the mall in my parents' hometown...just because sometimes it feels that they're all I got to remind me of home. I thought with time living over here, my memories and nostalgia would be manageable, but it's the opposite. The more time I spend here, the more I miss home. It's never gonna go away.

Anyway, not to be Debbie Downer or anything...it was great seeing you (and Nicky and Juliette!) and I only wish we could have spent more time together. I think I'll definitely take you up on your offer to come visit sometime soon..when Paris life makes me want to jump in front of one of those subways I'm forced to take everyday...

Bisous from someone who knows exactly how you feel, and then some.Crystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18136483568967161966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3115132896435909080.post-37254741452762965972009-08-09T14:48:02.340+02:002009-08-09T14:48:02.340+02:00And then on this side of the pond is that awful po...And then on this side of the pond is that awful popped-balloon feeling when our loved ones have departed, and we realize they have ANOTHER home, and not just this one (which is where we think they belong). Our houses are empty, but our hearts full of joy for the generous time you gave us here and the chance to be with you and our most precious Juliette. Counting the days until the next time...
Love you,
MumLindlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01729656346990206611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3115132896435909080.post-87580140000088704862009-08-09T12:43:10.193+02:002009-08-09T12:43:10.193+02:00my eyes are smarting a little as I read this. Just about to have apero and your post has really got to me. feeling a little bit silly. sadness post vacation can be like a black hole. Hope seeing crystal this weekend has helped a bit. I'll be needing a boost when I make it back to Amiens in just over a week. Your comment about no one there to greet you on arrival killed me a little. agghhh, where are those biscuits apero....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3115132896435909080.post-52925257568465890662009-08-09T03:28:59.574+02:002009-08-09T03:28:59.574+02:00We miss you three too. it was just wonderful spend...We miss you three too. it was just wonderful spending time with you. I'm still carrying my camera around showing everyone my pictures and the video of Juliette smelling the flowers. What an angel she is.

Glad you're home safe and the trip wasn't too bad, tiring but no major problems.

I love and miss you,
SunnyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
